How Do I Get Rid of Bloodhound Virus on My Vaio?

i got it while downloading a free music download on a strange site and it didn’t even download now i have a bloodhound virus how do i get rid of it without downloads. i have norton symnatic security
i scanned each file and nothing comes up but in a seperate window it says i have it. and i tryed downloading the updated virus list and it said restart and i did but i won’t load.

Go to Norton, and read what a bloodhound detection is. That may be a false positive. Check your anti-virus setting. If you have Advanced Heuristic Protection on the Aggressive setting that could be giving you a f/p. Would be better if you put it at auto. But you still should check it out. Since you said it came from a strange site. Get Mcafee site advisor. That way you can tell if a site is bad or not.

MalwareBytes have a great piece of software that should be able to get rid of it for you. Make sure to update it prior to use.
